Miranda Lambert!

We had our first weekend away from Chloe this week. We went to a concert to see Miranda Lambert, Jerrod Neiman, and Chris Young. I bought tickets for the concert months ago. We got there and tried to find our seats but their wasn't an actual row for us to sit at. I guess somehow I had bought wheelchair access tickets. OOPS! It actually turned out being a good thing because we didn't have anyone sitting or standing in front of us and they moved us closer to the stage. We looked like we were someone special because we sat in a section that was roped off and just for us!! 

The show was AMAzing! Chris Young was really really dreamy and a GREAT singer! Miranda sang her butt off and is soooo talented! We had a good time!

Grandpa D Visit!

My Dad came for another visit. Brittianey and Brad just moved into their new condo and needed some help with some things so they flew out our dad. He is staying for an entire month!! We are all super excited to see him! Chloe sure likes her gramps!

Chloe started eating food today! She didn't quite understand the idea at first but quickly found out she loved rice cereal. She started eating vegetables and fruit a couple weeks later. Her favorite was the peas!

Chloe is fun to play dress up with too! She is sooo go with the flow and down for anything!! 

Hair Model Maddox!

My nephew Maddox has some killer hair and since Chlo doesn't have a lot he gets all of the HAIR attention!

 I went to pick up Chloe after work and Madman Max's hair was too tempting. I had to put it in a Pebbles pony tail.... right?!?

Everyone else has fun with it too. Poor Max is in trouble! We even have twiner hair in one picture! Loves it!!!

Babes in Dreamland!

Taking naps with babies is one of the most peaceful things especially when your a new parent.... You take naps at any chance you can get!

Binks!

In the beginning Brandon and I tried not to give Chloe a binki.... I know we are crazy! After a month she seemed like she wanted to suck on something but she couldn't keep the regular binki in her mouth. Some of our SMART friends suggested a Wubbanub. Its a binki with an animal attached to it. The stuffed animal rest on the babies chest while it sucks on the binki! GENIUS!! (I bet you are wishing you would have thought of that money maker!) I got Chloe the pink pony one and it was her BFF! We named it Binks! 

One day I was grocery shopping at Walmart and when I got to the car Binks was gone!!!!! I tried to find it but he was lost forever. Brandon had to save the day and get a new Binks! This time it was a bear, Binks2!! (Thanks to Auntie Pam for calling her Hallmark and placing some on hold for us) This time we bought 2 just in case another incident happened! Phew!

Bedroom Redo

The girls get together every month to get crafty! This month it was at Brittianey's and she taught us how to make CUTESY fabric wreaths. I became addicted to these wreaths! The one I made at Britts inspired me to redo our bedroom! It turned out pretty darn adorable!

I got the duvet cover at Target for $24.99. The wall decal I got from Nicole for Christmas. The frames I had around the house and the "F" I got at Hobby Lobby for a couple bucks! Overall the redo was under $30 and took up a Sunday afternoon!

Mini Ute!

I was sooooo excited to take Chloe to her 1st Utah Gymnastic Meet! Mandie and I bundled the babes all up in their Ute stuff and braved the cold. We got their extra early to get our favorite homemade donuts with chocolate frosting and get settled in BUT our beloved donut man was GONE!! We were so bummed. We talk about these donuts all year long and know we couldn't have them. We then sadly walked to our seats, arms aching from carrying our little bundles and got ready for our girls to do their stuff! The meet started and it seemed like Chloe was loving it. She sat in Pam's lap and looked all around at everyone until people started clapping..... Oh man! She hated it! It was so loud and startling that she wouldn't stop crying. I ended up having to leave early. Maddox was a trooper, he loved it! Chloe is grounded from Ute stuff until next season! :(

Christmas!

Crafty Christmas!

I wanted to make crafty Christmas presents for everyone so I decided to make ornaments. I found pictures of all the kiddies and decoupaged them on to ornaments and then added ribbon, feathers and buttons. They turned out pretty darn cute! I wanted the wrapping to be crafty too so I used my Silhouette to cute out the first letter of everyone's name and wrapped the presents in butcher paper. I glued the letters on the paper and tied yarn around them. 

Christmas Card Photos!

Mandie came over to take pictures of Chlo for our Christmas card. Taking pictures of babies definitely takes some patience. She wanted to be awake when we wanted her sleeping. She was a high maintenance model! The pictures turned out AMAZing!! Mandie always does a great job!

Christmas Fun!

We had our annual PreChristmas party at Kathy's and the kiddies were being so cute! Connor was being a cheese ball and taking care of the babes. We then went to Far Away Grandma's for Christmas and Chloe helped us do a puzzle! So much family fun!

Secret Show! ANBERLIN

One of my favorite bands, ANBERLIN,  put on FREE SECRET SHOW!  They Tweeted that they chose Salt Lake out of the entire country as the destination of a secret show. Mandie and I had to go! Dads were on baby duty and the Moms were off to see their favorites play! We bundled ourselves up and headed to the Gallivan Center. It was like 20 degrees out! F F F FREEZING but ohhhhh so worth it!! They put on an amazing show as usual. Byron and Brandon survived their first time watching the kiddies without us  so it was a night to remember for all of us!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving! We went to Kathy's for dinner. So yummy! My favorite part is the rolls! We stayed there for awhile and then went to Brandon's Dads.
